Bring it on!

Nowadays when you look around, you see so many people getting married, having children even though they are at my age or younger. Then you think again yourself, are you mature enough to handle all the responsibilities?

I am a person, who walks by my plan. When I have a plan, means I had thought about it thoroughly and know that it is the best choice for me. I don't just only plan ahead, but really far ahead. If you ask me now, what are my plans for the next five, I can answer you with no doubt, but! Plans may differ due to unforeseeable variables like 2012, economic ups and downs, human relationships etc.

After a one-on-one talking session with myself, I realize that at this stage, I am not ready to take the big step yet. Not because I have not met the right guy, in fact, B is the best thing that could ever happened to me. Personally, I do not think that I am mature enough when it comes to my mental strength, and also I need time to work on my financial base before starting a family. Therefore, I am giving myself 3-4 years time to boast my EQ and also to fill in my bank with $$.

After all the hoohah, everything had calmed down and things will go as what we had planned earlier. Thank god. I also realize that everyone who is around me really care about me and love me a lot even though they are not  very expressive about it. And, I would also like to thank B for being so patient and supportive towards me, and thank god that I had found you in my life. No one, would have done things like how you did, and no one, would have chosen and accept me like how you did.

Two more weeks, and I am leaving Malaysia on a whole new journey in life ---- joining the work force. Excited? Well, to be frank I am quite excited. I know it would be challenging, tiring and also very stressful, but this is what life is about isn't it? Accept the challenge and survive! haha.

Bring it on!!!

Trimmed

Im such a lazy bum when I am back in Malaysia when it comes to blogging. haha. Oh well, I was busy catching up with my drama and tv at home you see. Anyway, today I finally trimmed my eyebrow! Yeeeehu. I  always have this very thin eyebrow and I don't even dare to do anything with it because I was thinking since I have such little eyebrow left, why should I even trim it.

And today, I had a chance to do so after following Kar Woon to Zeranium. I ended up having a back massage session and had my eyebrow trimmed. Honestly, I can live with this everyday! hahaha. It was very relaxing and not awkward at all considering it was my very first time. I felt so pampered after the session ended. Now I know, once in a while you got to reward yourself by doing these ya. Hmmm. I have start changing my mind set from now. haha. Anyways, I am really satisfied with how my eyebrows are now since it is nice and neat. Gotta work hard on maintaining it from now onwards! =)

Time is literally going by faster every day and it is a bit terrifying knowing that I have to start packing and leave Malaysia soon. Damn. Slow it down already! TT I still want to enjoy doing nothing at home without worrying about time, date, work and money. But no matter what it is, I will make the most out of the time I have now.

Sorry for being very vain, but my camwhoring juice were flowing because I was wore Cheongsam the other day. Hence, these pictures keke ::

A great week ahead for everyone and as for me, im going on a makan makan trip to Melaka with my family! =)

First time backpacker hostel

Have you guys stayed in a backpacker hostel before? 20 person Mixed Dorm to be exact? haha. Well, my first was in Singapore and currently, I am in another backpacker hostel in Singapore. I always wanted to know how it feels like to stay in one, and hey, my first experience was not bad at all.

The first one that I stayed in Singapore was the BEST! Its call the Beary Good Hostel located in Pagoda Street, Chinatown Singapore. It was remarkably small, but, clean and cozy. The bed was ready as we arrived, clean pillow sheets, blanket and bedsheet. Air con can be on the whole day, you get free milk, tea and coffee the whole day, free wifi, laptops and even an ipad for the guests to use. Yes, you are sharing a room with total strangers around you, but, it is somehow very safe. You have your own key cards so you can use whenever you are going out, and because of this, it is very secure. It will only cost you SGD26 for one bed for one night, owh, breakfast included as well. =) One thing that I must mentioned though, the location of this hostel is VERY strategic. You just alight from Chinatown MRT ( Pagoda Street exit ), and you can see the hostel right on your left. How convenient is that? I miss there already! TT

As compared to my first experience, the one I am staying now, is fairly bland. Well, it is SGD6 cheaper than Beary Good, but, you only have half an hour usage of internet on the computer, you have to walk quite a bit from the MRT station ( We were lost while finding for the hostel. ), and oh, the location. Hmmmm. In the morning, it is perfectly normal actually. But once the sun sets, everything changes. Neon lights, girls? Does it ring any bell to you? haha. Well, I don't even dare to go out of the hostel at night. Dang. And, I have to stay here for one week! =( Hence, turning myself into books. ( I am even amaze by how fast I can finish a book.)

When you are staying in this kind of backpacker hostel, it is no surprise that you will encounter with people from all over the world, US, UK, Aussie you name it, not forgetting sharing the same room with them. Hmmm. haha. Waking up with hunky topless guy in the same room as you, *ahem* is pretty normal here. But, it doesn't surprise me really, because I am use to it already? haha. That, is the good part. Bad part, is when someone started to snore at night. Dang! Close your nose or mouth already! haha..

Besides all those, you get to hear live world broadcast right in the lounge as people started to talk about their culture, things that are going on around, some they even talk about Malaysia. ( Which I have to disagree at times though I kept quiet and mind my own business. Come on! You have a native Malaysia in the house yo. haha. ) It is pretty interesting at times. But being a typical Asian, I am not as friendly as most of them as I just want to do my own things quietly. Ahhh. This has to change one day or so. haha.

Well, that's my experience staying at a backpacker hostel. What about yours? =)

=)

Scare much? It is not like I had never done this before, in fact, I have always been moving here and there. But, this is different of course. Finding house in foreign land ( well, not so foreign. Even some locals said I am more familiar with places around than them.=p ), going through all the hustle bustle or working permit, medical check ups, finding for jobs, going through interview etc. Everything is new to me, a starting of a whole new journey.

It is tiring to travel up and down just to settle things, hope it is worth it in the end. If you ask me, how many years am I planning to work here? I, really cannot say. My ultimate goal, is to earn as much as I can, save as much as I could and see whatever opportunities that are awaiting me.

But, one can never plan too far ahead as there are always other variables in life that could change your path. Right? Like what people said, just go with the flow and see where it leads to.

I am blabbering and my internet limit time is running out. haha. I miss unifi!!!! Anyways, I just need to write it out. keke. Time to go then~~ Till tomorrow..=p Happy weekend ahead..and Owh! Happy Graduation Dolores!

A little update

I, am currently in Singapore,  stoning and being a total nerd. I was so bored that I finished two books in two days..@@ Well, for the sake of saving money and not get drench or tanned, I turn to book to past time. Not bad huh? Anyways, I just got back from our Krabi Tour, and immediately transported to Singapore to settle of working permit. Within one hour after we reached Changi Airport, we have to rush over to the main office of our company. And within another hour, we were taking our medical check up. How awesome is that? TT

It was my first time doing a medical check up ( Blood test, Urine Test, X-ray and also physical test ) Blood test was okay, a whole good portion of my blood was being sucked into the test tube and sent to the test lab. Urine test was the most bizarre experience I had. I was given a bottle and was asked to pee in it.I had never done this before you see. I don't know about other people, but I can't aim perfectly. haha. Nevertheless, I still had the bottle filled. Then I was thinking damn, I got to clean this bottle properly. I took tonnes of tissue to wipe the bottle so that the nurse won't have to dirty her hands. Well, she had her gloves on, so...worried for nothing. haha. Well, my first urine test it is.

After the medical test, I was a little paranoid. What if I had HIV, what if I am pregnant? What if I have malaria somehow. Oh well, test was out today. I do not have HIV, I am not pregnant and yes, I am fit enough to past the medical test. Thank god. haha. Arrr well, I always think about the worst at times like this.

I also got my room settled while I am here. It is not a palace for sure, not as comfy or spacious as my home, but I suppose as long as I have a bed, air con, wardrobe and a place to online, it is good enough as a start. In the future, I just have to save like hell so I could afford a better room. =) Just hang in there for one year! I can do this.

While we are here this time, we tried to spend like how we are suppose to when we start working. Thinking what could be our best possible budget spent on food by roaming around market, supermarket and even experimenting with it now.Working life abroad, I am feeling it baby! Dang! I suppose this is how we learn to be independent and surviving the city. We can do this! I hope.

Anyways, I cannot wait to get home now! Last month before I start working and I have to meet up with everyone! Till next week till next week! God, I am rottening here. By the way, I cannot leave now even though I had settled most of the things because my permit card can only be collect next Wed, on the day I am flying back. Damn.

^^

Hello everyone! How are you doing this week? As for me, I am pretty much free at the moment. Meeting up with people, watching my drama at home and just, hanging around. haha. Well! I have a good news for myself! Which is, I had secured a job in Singapore, together with B! ^^ Yeap. We had just signed on our employment letter and just waiting for the company to work on our working permit! =) =) If everything goes well, we would be leaving Malaysia and start on our working life in mid November!

Currently I am still waiting for the permit to be done, then will go down to Singapore once more for medical check up and signing contract for our place to stay etc. Yeap. This month will most probably be spent on settling down in Singapore. How fast right? Just three weeks ago I had finished my internship, and in one month time, I would be in Singapore already. kekeke. Time to save some money people!

My hair is pretty long now isn't it? Can't wait for it to grow longer so I can do something with it. =) Straightening again? or dyeing it brown? Hmmmm. Still deciding. Let's wait for two months or so.

This is a bag I bought in Singapore during my previous trip down with my brother. Loving the pink!

Then while I was packing in my things, I realize that everything I had in my bag was SOOO pink! In fact everything is pink. How did I ended up to be a pink geek? haha. I suppose I was buying things in pink unconsciously and in the end, it is all pink. Oh well, time to move on to other colors. =)

I am so excited on starting a new life. Getting a place to stay, getting a new phone number, internet line, getting used to work, travelling around in MRT, you name it. Will it be the same as how I imagine it? or will it be better! Let's hope for the best shall we?

p/s Going to Krabi in a few days time! OH YEAH! Rain rain please go away...
