The people you met

Do you know the scariest thing of all besides ghost, all sorts of phobia is perhaps the human's heart?

You met all sorts of people in your life..kindergarden friends, primary school friends, secondary school friends, some camp fire friends, tuition friends, college friends..clubbing friends to some and working friends..Through these years, you had encounter with so many different people in different stages of your life..but which or whom is the ones that you really do cherish?

and which, is fake.

The biggest faker in the world, the biggest liar, the biggest actor or actresses will be us humans. People who wants attention, people who are desperate, people who are in need of companion, people who are greedy etc.

Liar liar pants on fire

Scariest of all. Tell you this, give you this excuse, give you that excuse, convincing you this and that, promise you this and that. In the end, nothing.

Oscar winning actors and actresses

Oh so friendly in front of you, oh so sweet oh so lovely. Turn their back, here comes a huge stab at your back..

Desperate attention seekers

People who are just not satisfied with what they have and desperately seeking for opposite sex's attention even though they already have someone next to them.

Arrogant rude and so into them self's jerk

The world is revolving around them and they are the center of the universe. No one is better than them and they are the best person in the world

Rich and stingy bugger

Money is their water, and diamond is nothing. They have all the money in the world and yet still so calculative over little small things. Show off their LV bags, the latest IT gadgets, car that can buy you a huge bungalow in KL etc, boasting about what they had buy and where they went, but don't even know the simple rule of respecting people.

There are more. Of course there are many good ones. Let's talk about those another time.

The point is, you met them, saw their true colors, in the end of the day, you knew you had learned something from them, to not be like them.

From what I had learned, do not trust people so easily. You can smile, you can talk, but just because of that, doesn't mean you know everything about me nor you can judge me.

Gah...

I may not be a person who is super duper friendly and claiming everyone as my friend, though I sat down quietly, doesn't mean I am doing nothing. I am slowly learning about other people and observing. So you may be surprise when I remember things more than you do.

Sorry if I am a cool person to you, I just need some warming up.

p/s Sentimental because I saw something in FB that I had long forgotten. bugger. oh well. it is the past and I had grew up way more than what I thought.

What to eat in Seremban other than Seremban Siew Pau

What to eat in Seremban other than Seremban Siew Pau

Today I read the newspaper and I saw an article about what to do in Seremban..and they actually introduce one of the most expensive Laksa Shop in Seremban...this restaurant happen to be just near my house..and honestly...the price itself will scare you away...taste? hmmmm...still acceptable..but not the best in Seremban..

So...what can you eat in a small town like Seremban? A lot of people relate Seremban to Siew Pau and crab..but hey..that is not all..you can find quite a few good outlets to fill up your tummy...

Firstly...the best laksa in Seremban for me? I am sure my friends would agree with me...It will definitely be Asia Laksa....

Asia Laksa

This little bowl of noodle is filled with curry godness...first you must have a very good curry broth...then here comes tau fu pok ( okay..I am a weirdo and I normally don't like to eat this..because I don't like the curry broth to percik out of your mouth when you eat it..normally this is why people like to eat this..haha..), then comes taugeh...chicken or egg and lastly... cockles..it is a must must have...=) there you go..a bowl of laksa goodness..slurrrpp..though you can find laksa almost everywhere..but THIS laksa has a distinctive curry taste that you can not find else where..that is why most of us had been eating there since young...and this bowl of laksa only cost you RM4...

After laksa...here comes Seremban one and only Beef Noodle...

Seremban Beef Noodle

What is so different about this beef noodle? It is definitely the gravy that binds everything together...Normally the ones you find in KL is noodle mix with minced meat and other accompaniments with the soup..but our Seremban Beef Noodles are all in all together...add a touch of salty vege, peanuts and top with some sesame seeds..and the most important thing of all...the GRAVY...slurrrppp..I don't know how to explain the gravy..you just need to try it yourself..

There you go...Seremban Beef Noodle

For me..the best Beef Noodle you have to get it at Pasar Besar Seremban...though they have another outlet near my house which is Kemayan Square..I still find the ones at the market more authentic..perhaps the environment does make a differences..

After beef noodle, we shall proceed to this..porridge...

Porridge is not really my thing..i hate white porridge unless it comes with salted vegetables, peanuts and braised egg..that..i love...but other than that..i don't really fancy porridge because i don't like it hot..@@ okay..I know I am still a weirdo..:p anyways..i don't mind fish porridge either...but what we ate here is...frog porridge...

Frog Porridge

This restaurant is located near my school which is SMK Puteri, just right opposite the Steamboat restaurant...I had never eaten here before so I did not know it attracts quite some hungry Seremban porridge seeker...

Okay..I do not know how to describe a good bowl of porridge...perhaps porridge at the right texture and right seasoning...:p

But what is good here is THISSSSS..

Fish Ball noodle

I know it is an awkward combination..frog leg porridge and fish ball noodle...but..it is awkwardly nice..haha..especially the fish ball noodle...we ordered it dry and it comes with the noodles with minced meat, coriander, some fried fu chok andddddd..pork lard...the nice thing about this noodle is definitely the pork lard..it lifted the taste of the noodle to another level...not to be forgotten the fish ball..nowadays..it is not easy to find a nice home cook fish ball... slurrrppp..

Of course there are many more good food in Seremban...I will introduce more in the future when I have the chance to take a picture of it...=)

Enough of food..introducing my new cousin sister...jia xin.....

cute yea...haha..I always have this thing for babies with big eyes...=)

This is a very cute picture of her..terrified by my mum's hair which looks like a ghost in this picture...haha

The guinea pig I gave my mum had grown bigger...and very manja...probably because she is alone in Seremban so she tend to stick to human whenever you bring her out..So cute of her..very different from the ones in KL..haha..the ones in KL will just run away whenever you bring them out...tsk tsk tsk..probably i should isolate them for some time so they will learn how to appreciate our attentions..

Her eyes are as big as ever...lovesss

and hey..my phone camera is pretty good le..sometimes better than my cam...@@

Final Examination Dinner

Taylor's Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Final Examination Dinner

Remember those days when it was my Diploma practical classes, we have to stayed back until late in the night just to practice our carving...whether it is chicken carving or duck carving...the never ending Grape fruit carving and orange carving..flambe flambe and flambe.. practicing our up selling skills...arrrr..those were the dayss..

Now after graduating from diploma for more than one year, i got the chance to dine in as a guest for my junior's finals..hmmm...

Went over to Pyramid to kill some time...even met Rosalyn while walking...haha..what a coincidence..=)

How could you resist huge mirror? :p

Anyway, our diploma finals work like this...you are suppose to find four guests to dine in on your exam day..each guest have to pay RM25 for a three course meal including wine...menu of the day will not be revealed until that day itself..yeap..sounds easy...but...why don't you try and see..haha..

Like any fine dining restaurant, we started off with some bread...to our surprise, we have potato bread instead of normal mini buns...

Potato bread with butter

Our table number...17

Menu of the Day

French Onion Soup

This may be the easiest starter with..but the trick is..you need to perform gueridon service...Gueridon service means French service..basically the soup was brought out in a soup tureen and being served on the trolley in front of the guest..

Taste of the French Onion Soup? hmmmmmm...beef stock powder...beef stock powder..oh well..what do you aspect from the kitchen?

Before the main course is served, the server will have to open a bottle of white wine in front of the guest...The wine? I am sorry to say..it is not to my liking..save cost mer...

Pan fry fish with sauté vegetables and turned potato

This..is okay...the fish is not as fishy as the ones I had encounter in college before..the sauce is acceptable..but the sauté vegetable is really horrible..how can you overcook the vegetables until it is so soggy and off colored? If my memory serves me right.. sauté potato should not taste like this either...it should be boil.. sauté in butter and put in the oven until the food is ready to be served..oh well...what to do...

Finalement...we have our crepe dessert..This one, it is also gueridon service as usual...you have to flambe it..( flame it with alcohol in short..) well..first you heat the pan hot and add some sugar until it covers the whole pan..( yes I know..it is freaking sweet ) then once it is melted..add some orange juice..make a nice caramel cause...When the caramel sauce is ready..it is time to coated the crepe with the sauce...when all four pieces are well coated..it is time to flame it!!

I only manage to capture a bit of flame...:p

In the end..it should look like this...

It would look better if another piece stay in place!!! haha

Once it is plated..it is like this...

Flambe crepe..

looks very nice right? taste? sweet but not too sweet because we did asked her to put less sugar...The crepe has a very neutral taste so it balance off the sweetness of the caramel sauce...

Our meals ended with coffee or tea...a very typical normal dinner service actually...did not aspect something extravaganza though..we knew Taylors well enough..haha..was it a great meal? oh well..its so so..probably because my expectation was higher.. :p but I must say..my junior did a great job...

I will end my post with a very happy picture of B and Mr Randall...

My bro left to Sabah! He was accepted into University Sabah Malaysia in Sabah of course and flew over there on last Saturday with his gf..yeap..they were lucky enough to be able to enroll in the same U together..Actually..we did not have any farewell for him because my dad was sick and could not eat anything other than porridge...@@ and they already ate together with my aunt and all before I came back..oh well...it is not like I won't see him anymore... I suppose to sent him off as early as 5am..but I had a terrible migraine on that morning itself..thanks to the drama overdose!! It marks our first

It marks our first
Day started off with a little something that I had wrote for him..which made someone shy away after reading..muahaha...oh well..I am only sweet to you darling..muakxxx

Then the next day, woke up early to go church even though he was tired as hell..oh well..it is all worth it for our new phone yea...=) In another hand..I started to make Shepard Pie which I never did before in my life..hey..I am not a pastry person alright..practice makes perfect right? :p Anyways..my Shepard pie turned out alright..wheeee...

While sweating my heads off in the kitchen...B came back from church...I ran to him because I was afraid that my pie will be overcook...need to ask him to check check..and then...I saw him coming back with a bunch of roses...awwwwwww....thats so sweet...

' Thank you darling...muakxxx...but can I romantic with you later? come come and see my pie!! '

haha..I am such a loser when it comes to romance...hahaha..this is the second time B gave me flower.... =D love it love it love it...well..which girl don't like flower huh?? Especially roses from your love ones...wheee~~

Daddy give mummy roses huh choco..anyways..choco is one year old already!! =) choco was my first pressie for B on the night we started...

Roses...

Thank you baby for the flowers..I really appreciate it..muakxxxxx...

Since we get our pay earlier than what I expected..its time to get what we had been craving for a super long time...B had been doing research every day..went to Low Yatt to survey the price...and wheeee~~ we got ourselves a new phone each....consider it is our anniversary pressies...=)

It is N97 mini...and now we got ourselves couple phones..hahaha

Good bye Sony for both of us and hello Nokie...=) though I was not a Nokie fan last time because I was having a hard time sms-ing and having a hard time with all the buttons..Amazing N97 mini is pretty easy to use and text...

After getting our new phone...we went for our romantic dinner at Yuzu Restaurant..romantic war..hahahha..anyways..I did quite a lot of research before choosing which restaurant to go...read countless blog before deciding which to go..and as a conclusion..first choice is always the best choice...:p

Located at Garden's Mid valley..I had passed here and few time and was always intimidated by the interior and the location..hello! it is located at The Garden's..the name itself spells expensive le..but hey..it is really not that expensive when it comes to their sets..

The interior is very Zen huh? love it

Anyways...it is bigger than what we thought it would be..inside it is like a maze with many private rooms and corners..the decor is amazingly nice..I like..

Hanging kimonos as wall decor

Going through the menu itself takes quite some time because it is pretty extensive and the set menu varieties really will make you go haywire..haha..there are too many choices of things to choose from...The Ala carte menu is quite pricey actually..but if you are in budget..do go for the set menu...there are lots of sets to choose from and it comes with many side dishes..

I forgotten what is this call actually...I think it is something like a sushi gozen..:p

It comes with

Salad

This is a pretty standard Japanese Salad that comes with lettuce, some purple shredded cabbage, cucumber and cherry tomato

Cawanmushi

This...is awesome..it is so smooth that it just melts in your mouth...B said it is even smoother than the Tau Foo Fa in Ipoh...haha

Some Japanese Pickle

Tempura

It comes with ebi tempura, brinjal, ladies finger and onion..It is a little bit oily though...

Soup in teapot

It is a clear broth like consonme that comes with shredded mushrooms, spring onions and a bit of chicken..

Sushi-s

I tell you...the flying fish roe is just superb!!!!! you just need to take one little fish roe and put it in your mouth..bite it..then all the goodness will pop out in your mouth..normally when it is not that fresh, you may feel that it is very fishy..but this...is sweet!! It is like popping sweet fish oil in your mouth..slurrrppps...definitely love this..

Yuzu gozen

Okay...this is pretty much similiar to mine just that it comes with beef and sashimi...

Grilled beef

Okay..this is pretty normal actually...nothing much that I can say about this..just grilled beef on a stone...

but this..is something that you can die for....Sashimi

OMG! if not because B asked me to try the salmon, I would not know it is that GOOD..the salmon is so fresh that it can just swim in your mouth..the texture is super smooth and you don't have to bite much..just let it swim in your mouth happily and slip into your tummy...I am serious..it is THAT GOOD..

Sushi

Tempura

Seaweed pickle

Our bill came up to RM98 for two person...and...tell me...is it worth it? oh well.you can try and count every single dish in the set and compare it with the pricing in Zanmai...For me..it is worth the damage on this special day...muakxx

After our lovely dinner..we went over to Alexis to try out their famous Tiramisu

My first feeling of the ambience..very Ikea-ish with all the plates arrangement in the restaurants..but I got to say..it is very cozy with nice sofas to lie down...

Tiramisu

This is perfect!!! you have the super soft sponge cake that was infused with espresso, bits of choc pieces in the middle with cream cheese and some whipped cream I think...then it was topped with caramel chopped pecan nuts...its crunchy, its soft, it is sweet with hint of coffee and cognac and it is served with strawberry sauce on the side...tell me this is not nice!!!!!!

What's best with tiramisu than cappuccino?

The brown sugar and white sugar comes in rock form instead of normal powdery form...its so cute...though it is harder to melt..haha

So that ends our first anniversary together...=)

Took many many pictures...hehe..oh well...forgive me can or not..its our first le!!! :p

Time really passed damn fast nowadays...Two months ago I was still planning where to go and eat and what to do on our anniversary..and hey...we were together for one year already...My hair also change from straight to curly and back to straight again..haha...Anyways...we still have a long more way to go...and just wish both of us can maintain the way we are now...stay lovey dovey forever and ever... :p

I said this for many many times in my blog already...and yes..I will treasure all the memories we both share together...and together we shall stand strong and walk down the journey together...

I love you Baby Aaron

Happy Anniversary again...muakxxx
