21st

Its time for pictures!!

So his 21st birthday...It started off on Friday where I supposed to plan for a little surprise for him by secretly asking his friends to come out..I even planned out the whole tipu-ing process saying I want to eat something at somewhere..But..Suddenly I was told that they are not free...sooo..had to break the news to B....emosss because my plan had failed..=(

I guess friends will always be friends..die die also find a time to celebrate their buddy's birthday right? We all still went and yumcha at night..I know B is quite touched that most of them came..haha..

Oh...we went and collect his Ice Cream Cake in the evening also..

I requested to have love instead of flower..haha..nice ya..=)

When clock strikes twelve...ermm..actually by the time we reach home after yumcha its already 3 something in the morning..don't care..must blow cake dulu!! haha

The Day

I guess the sky has been treating B really well..it was cloudy and cooling the whole day...super nice weather on his birthday..haha..Suppose to go PC Fair but decided to watch movie at home instead...Enjoy the weather while we can mer..=)

Well..must spend some time to get ready for our lovely dinner in the evening..had been searching high and low for a nice restaurant for his birthday lo...in the end decided to try Castell Restaurant for its blue cheese tenderloin..slurrrppp..

The Portobello Mushroom is well grilled..it remains super juicy inside and it just flows out when you cut it...the mixed herb and Tabasco sauce goes really well with the earthiness of the mushroom..thumbs up..

Main Course

Stilton Tenderloin Rm68.00

It comes with corns, Salad and a huge baked potato with sour cream and spring onion

This is a very special combination of English Blue Cheese and beef tenderloin..Stilton is a very flavorful blue cheese that usually goes well with olives and crackers..but having it with beef tenderloin is something that we never had before...To my surprise..its very nice..it goes very well with the grilling flavor of the tenderloin..It gives an extra kick to the beef..nice...

Mixed Grill RM 39.00

We have a sausage, two prawns, spring chicken and grilled lamb with the same condiments as B

Well..it is a super worthy dish as you have many things to munch on...The sausage is rather normal, prawns..hmm..not really a prawn fan..the spring chicken is quite dry..and the grilled lamb is...so so only..all were marinated well...but perhaps the grill is too hot and resulting in overcook meats

We went to Delicious for a cup of Illy's Cappuccino before heading back..

Its superrrrr nice..because the milk foam is super firm and gave a nice creaminess to the cappuccino..slurrppp

We bought this from Tioman Island..and its super cheap...it has a well sweetness in it with lots of fruitness with a nice bubble...slurrrppp..as aspected..I became a cherry tomato after drinking!! :p B insist me to look at myself into the mirror...@@

So thats all on his birthday..simple and yet a memorable one..=) and now! we can finally go to Casino together!! wheeeee~~~ we sudah legal!!! :p

21st..his turn..

Today is a very special day...perhaps the most anticipated day in my whole year..( oh ya..I am more excited than my very own birthday ) Its my Baby Darling 21st Birthday...wheeee~~ Oh well..this is 'THE' day in the year to be menggelikan either in FB or blog..so don't care..:p

I had been planning his birthday since three months ago when Dolores gave me an idea of giving 21 things on a 21st birthday...sorry dolores..tercuri your idea! hahaha..Had been cracking my head to think of those 21 things when my budget is pretty tight recently..21 things! WAH..like a lot right? well. I did not spend in super luxury things..some are little courtesy of mine..some I made myself and some I buy...Will blog about it after today..haha..:p

I still remember last year I was training in Kuantan during his birthday..and I die die also come back to KL and celebrate his special day with him even though it was a few hours late..Asked Alan to teman me to buy b his shoes because I am not really good in choosing a guy's basketball shoes..Ordered a lychee love shape cheese cake from Randall and asked him to trick B into yumcha so he can pass B the cake..and yay! he was surprised!! haha..that..was last year..this year...hmmm..

1. 21 things booklet ( I made this little booklet for him to guess what are the 21 things..)

2. Cup ( He lost one of his cup...so i bought a super tall cup for him/us to enjoy our tea.keke )

3. Bag ( He had this bag that he had been using for ages..So decided to get him a new one so he can bring to Tioman )

4. Tie ( I choose a white thin tie for him because he don't have one )

5. Pillow ( His love other than me...pillows..so I made one pillow myself for him..yeap..I sew it all by myself..haha )

6. Photoframe ( Since there is no photoframe of our picture..why not get one? haha )

8. Moon cake skin ( His favorite snack to munch on )

10. Hello Panda ( ermmm..I can not think of anything that will not use much money..sooo..:p )

11. Ice Cream Cake ( well..on his birthday of course you will need a cake right? He never tried an ice cream cake before, so I got him one from Baskin Robbins. =) )

12. Cake again ( I had promised him that I will make one for him myself..and i did on his birthday )

Well..until I had completed all except for cookies and me singing..I lost that file!!! sobs sobs...well..have to redo one day..haha..cookies itu I need some time to do it..probably tomorrow or so..shall wait for it then..So..Not all requires a lot of money right? it is the thought that counts..haha..

I had said before I am not so much of a pastry person because I seldom have the chance to bake and all..but hey..incredibly, I can make nice pancake for breakfast! Oh well..I just hope that B and his parents are not saying its good to make me feel better..

Spaghetti with tomato sauce

Sounds pretty normal right? We have cellery, tomatoes, onions, carrots, kidney beans and minced chicken inside..We even flavored the sauce with some red wine, cumin seeds, chili powder and some chili paddy! Tell me it is not awesome...slurrppp..

We have fried bitter gourd, pumpkin and aubergine...the batter is also flavored with some chili powder and cumin seed...its just nice and crispy with a little bit of indian flavors in it..Best goes with a beer really..

Then I also made...

Sauté oyster mushroom with garlic

Sounds pretty easy and simple right..it is!!! haha...just mushroom garlic and some seasoning..thats it..mushroom goes really well with garlic and black pepper..probably because these are all earthy flavors.

One of the little surprises I got for B for his birthday...China Ha Mi Melon

Look at the size..its HUGE

I was suppose to be getting Japanese or Australian Rock Melon for him...but I was attracted to this giant melon once I stepped into the shop...and surprisingly, it is not that pricey compare to the rest...so I die die also carry this Melon weight at 3kg for B...this baby melon is 3kg! 

haha..see how happy is b...=) we even name the melon Baby Rocky! :p We can even hold it like a baby...cute right?

Thanks to my lovely bro who informed me at the very last minute about selling his ticket..I have to rush back and fourth to Seremban in one day. And being late for an hour in everything really made me frustrated to the max. ( ' __ ' ) 

First. Traffic on friday is the worst ever. I thought I had reached Seremban highway after like half and hour in the bus, but it turned out to be Sg Besi toll only. And I was hungry as hell and was late for Wai Mae's house gathering. Damn.

Secondly. My jab. I woke up at 8am in the morning just to get my little jab before dim sum-ing with the girls. Waited for an hour in the clinic for the doctor to come and finally when its my turn, the doctor said it is better if I don't take the jab today because it is not one month yet. ( ' - ' )''""" And because of that, I was late for an hour.Hate being late. urghhhhh.
