Loving the Rain

Wohooo~ It has been raining for the whole day! So happy! Such cooling and nice weather to just chillex at home..I can not even recall when was the last time I slept until 2pm without waking up..So blessed..Luckily I do not have any out door plans for today so ya, I have nothing to complain about but enjoying the cooling weather.

Since the rain is not going to stop anytime soon, why not just enjoy the weather in door? =p 

CNY is coming..hmmm..but why I don't have any CNY mood yet? The only thing I am really expecting, is pineapple tart! Who doesn't like to have pineapple tart during CNY? and I was planning to make some tomorrow if the weather allows me to. I wanted to make some so I can have a whole tub to myself, hide it somewhere so no one will finish it other than me. Muahahaha! Evil me but don't care, who ask my brothers to finish up everything before I do.

Choices

That day we were in class, we were asked, what work value motivates you?

The first thing that came into my mind, money money money! Then comes environment. Money minded it may sound, but I guess I am just a realistic person? No one can deny in this world that money is not important because without money, even though there are so many wonder things you want to achieve in life, you still need some help from money. 

There are many offers coming in for our internship, whether it is China, Macau, Japan, Singapore or our very own Malaysia. Offers coming in, but the fishes waiting for the bait are plenty too. 2 seats offered for 70 over students who apply for it, please tell me the probability. 

Then you start thinking, you want to work for money, or for a better pathway to your future? Because you will not get the best of both world. It is either the opportunity is good with low pay, or the pay is high but it takes longer to climb up. While conflicting with my inner self, I stepped into the interview room with doubts in my head. And i think our dearest lecturer saw that on my face and questioned it. I can not answer truthfully, because it hit me at that time that I had set my mind on opportunity instead. 

Now I just pray hard that we will be accepted into our 'opportunity' offer. They sound keen and promising. =) 

I don't know whether it is the influent of my dissertation topic on myself or any other external factors, I was pumped up and motivated to do something different and successful in it so I can prove to the world, we ladies can rock the man's world. haha. So don't be surprise if I ended up doing something totally different from what I suppose to do. 

Talking about 'tuuuuut..', it was on hold for a few days because of my period pain. I can not concentrate whenn my womb is constantly telling me I am in pain and I need to go to toilet every 5 minute because it needs to where else it is just a false alarm which had irritated me to the max. Yes. Period pain takes away your concentration. And I told my self I need to finish my literature review before balik kampung! So yeah. Wish me luck! 

I see, many people are suffering from relationship problem, mainly concerning woman issues. They say they can not understand women. Well ya. We women are unpredictable thanks to our extra estrogen that flows into our bloodstream every month, we have ever twisted mind that will link every possible things together which is also very useful for finding out things that you can never imagine, our mood can snaps in a bit because we are ultra sensitive creatures and all in all, we are women. 

There is a reason why they say women are unpredictable, because sometimes we don't even understand why we do this and that. Every being has a different way of handling things and perhaps the way she/he handle things does not live up to your expectation. If you don't find a way to deal with it, that is where conflict occurs. If you really love that girl, you need to dig deeper into her inner self to understands her. Sometimes, she don't even get herself. If you have found her secret key to her heart and love her for who she really is, i suppose, that is the girl for you. 

Oh oh...I am crapping too much instead doing my dissertation! haha..Alright..off I go now to eat first..=p Bonne Weekend everyday! =)

Nose blocked nose blocked..Urgh! I hate nose block..Please don't fall sick before CNY..please please..

I am officially 22nd years old now. Oh god! I felt like I am ten years older when I am 22 years old. haha. I am no longer a teenager but a young adult. It is a little scary when you are slowly stepping into the adult world realizing that you are no longer that young anymore. We girls used to wear sports shoes everywhere and now, it is slowly replaced by heels that are getting higher and higher everyday, jeans were replaced by formal clothes, cute little bags are slowly retiring and making its way into the cupboard etc.

I still want to wear mini short skirt, I still want to wear colorful clothes and cute accessories, and I still want to have a high pony tail. But hey, I am slowly aging! haha. Maybe some of you remembered I used to have this pink skirt from high school, and it is rotting in my cupboard. Since I am wearing my Taylors T-shirt, why not wear it and pair it up with a pony tail and earrings. After wearing it, I keep asking B whether I look Lala or not, and I am damn worried that I will look weird in it. In contrast, I wore this body hugging formal dress to college on my birthday and I felt good. Surprisingly, I felt confident.

I guess as you grow older, you will realize that some things you have to let go because it doesn't suits you anymore.

We changed as we grow older, our fashion sense changes, and our thinking became more mature. That is life.

There was a stage in my life where I am overly excited for my birthday and I wanted it to be special, extravaganza, you name it. Well, that time I was disappointed as hell and it was like being hit by a train. But, that was the past, whether it is 2 years ago, or 5 years ago. Now, I don't take it that hard anymore. As long as I have my family, friends and loved one by my side, I am happy enough. It doesn't have to be very VERY special to make me happy, because as long as I can spent it with people I love, I am already satisfied. * But if someone plans to make it special, I don't mind though.Muahahhaa =p *

And so, my birthday this year. I have no idea why, but I felt really happy! hahaha. I am happy when everything goes on smoothly, I am happy when I had a great meal, I am happy when I ate my tiramisu, and I am happy I received everyone's wishes. Hence, It is my best birthday so far simply because I am happy. =D

See! I even look good in the morning! Good means no dark circle even though did not put on any concealer =p

As for my birthday wish this year, it is very practical as usual. I can guarantee you my dissertation and work is two if it. =p But what I really want besides those, is everyone around me to be happy of who they are and live life to the fullest.

Oh yes, I am growing old, so what! As long as I feel young and good about myself inside, I will always be young in heart. Correct? After saying this, time to get some anti wrinkle cream...hahahahhaa..Joking! =p

Age will only aged as time goes by, it is the journey you walked that matters. As long as you look back with no regrets, you know you have live your life to the fullest. 

Lastly, I like my eye make up! hahahahaha..Finally got chance to dress up so must show...=p

Arrrr..One more hour to my 22nd Birthday! Wohoooo~~ Well, I am not OFFICIALLY 22nd yet so yes, I am still pretty excited that I am STILL 21 years old for another hour. =p

Oh yes, I was in my camwhore mood another day, and I found taking picture in this angle makes my eyes HUGE. 

Anyways, I already got my birthday pressie from my darling baby today..wheeeeee~ and I am sooooo Happy! Well, that day while walking with my girlfriends another day, I fell in love with this pair of shoes from Vincci. Perhaps it is not an ordinary-easy-to-go-with-every-outfit-kind-of-shoes but I love it because it is go edgy and at the same time, it is so elegant. I did not bought it on the spot because I scare I will regret getting it and I need to consult my fashion advisor before making any decisions. =p

I told B excitedly about the shoes and we went back to Vincci today. My heart sank when the shoes were no longer there, and only the same shoes with different color were on display. I quickly ask the salesgirl whether they have my size in black or not and she went to the store room and check it for me. I was hoping anxiously that they still have my size in black. And, VOILA! She brought me my shoes in black. And so, that is my birthday present from B. =) =)

I was SO SO SO SO happy because I get that pair of shoes as my birthday present. I love it so much! haha..So let me share with you my pretty shoes..=)

Haha. Okay. Perhaps my taste of fashion is a little bit different from other people. It looks like those shoes where people wore to school last time but of course it it much higher. It is quite high but it is soooo comfortable! I swear! You can adjust it by adjusting the shoe lace or the buckle at the back. I love love love it! =)

This year, I had decided to pamper myself on my birthday. =p And so, I bought this little boots from an online boutique so I could wear this to France. After all, Paris is a fashion city! Well, that is just an excuse to buy a pair of new shoes.

You guys must be thinking, this girl's fashion sense must be outrageous. How can you wear this in Malaysia? In fact, I had done my research on what to wear to pair with this boots and it is pretty versatile. ( Of course I need to make sure that my money is well spent right? So a little bit of research is a must..=D )

And so, I am loving my birthday presies this year! haha..Oh well, tomorrow I have class from morning until 6pm..thanks to our emergency France Trip Talk..Bah! I thought I can go home and take my own sweet time getting ready for dinner. Mana Tau..Oh well! What to do..It is better than clashing my birthday with Chinese New Year..=)

Sunway Lagoon Love

It has been a long long while since I celebrated my birthday with my girl friends, and this year, we got to step it up and do something different. After a long round of discussion online which include our dress codes, we finally came out with two plans, Plan A and Plan B. Plan A will be Sunway Lagoon as none of us had been there considering me and Dolores had been staying around that area for almost 4 years. @@ The reason we came out with Plan B, is because three of us's 'Time of the Month' is not here yet and if we got the red bomb, we would turn over our steering and roll over to Genting Highland..

We were suppose to report to each other whether we receive our red bomb on the morning before we go and thank god, none of us did. Hooray! =) Had our filling breakfast of pan mee and headed up to Sunway Lagoon.

Thanks to the very efficient and money sucking Sunway Lagoon system, we were not allowed to bring water and food, each time you open your locker, you need to pay RM5. In order to not open our locker so many times, we locked up all our valuables in our locker and had to go to the water park without camera..Hence, no pictures of the water park..

 Our power ranger like watch which we keep checking the time with it...hahaha..

My lovely Ladies..

After putting on our swim suit and sub block, off we go to the water park. We hit the water slides before we even warm ourselves up by soaking in the water. We had much fun yelling and screaming while sliding down the slides! Too bad the surf beach was closed for concert at night. 

We then head off the the Wild Safari. Amazingly, all the animals in the Wild Safari were oversized. hahaha. Why so? The sugar glider, porcupine, iguana, rabbits, and other animals were all bigger in size compare to the ones we normally see.

They even rear arapaima in the lake..ohhhh..

We sat a few rides together at the Wild Wild West. Something like a Grand Canyon River Ride, then a very not scary roller coaster. There is one which I had forgotten the name where it is like a water slide, but you won't get wet. And then, me and Kar Woon took the challenge of the 360 Pirate Ship..=)

The thing with this ship is, the overhead thingy ( Which I don't know what is it call ) was so damn tight that it was pushing my tummy really hard and making me very uncomfortable. But at the same time, you don't have any heart dropping feelings and you felt safe. It was a bit scary at first, but once you were turned up side down, you won't really feel much after. =)

While walking down the suspension bridge, I was busy taking pictures and did not notice the bars where I was standing..I got a shock of my life when I realize we can actually look at below through the bars..

It is pretty scary alright! and oh! Our slippers match! =)

We went through this illution tunnel where it suppose to confuse you and we snapped a few artistic pictures..=) 

I was trying to be different by climbing onto the bars. The first shoot was blurred so I have to climb on it again to do so. Then suddenly a couple walked in and saw me climbing onto the bar! OMG! It was so embarrassing! But after they left, I quickly went out and check whether there are anymore people coming in, climb onto the bar, and voila! This picture was taken..=) You need to sacrifice for the work of art! muahaha..

After cleaning ourselves, we went over to Pyramid to have our lunch+dinner and also our shopping sessions. I will talk about our lovely meal another day because the food is just so awesome..=) It was Kar Woon's shopping day as she found many things that she liked from her detour to Etude House. =p Even I bought a top and a cute skirt! Love it love it. 

It was such a tiring day because we walked ALOT in a day. We climbed so many stairs, walked uphill downhill around Sunway Lagoon, walking around pyramid etc. At the end of the day, I was so exhausted that I fell asleep at around 10pm. I slept like a pig really and that is how tired I was. Seriously, that is a sign of me getting old. NOOOO~~~~ 

I wanted to say here thank you girls for spending a day with me. It had been a long long time since I had so much fun in a theme park and it totally brought back all my childhood memories. =) Only regret is, why did we not camwhore much after cleaning up? thanks again and i love you all..=) =)

AND OUR BIGGEST SUCCESS YESTERDAY???

MACAROONSSSS~~~

Other than college, I had never made it at home before and I know the success rate is fairly low because macaroons are such a sensitive pasty and requires a lot of attention in details. But out of no where, we tempted to make this at home yesterday..After measuring everything precisely and experimenting with different temperature and batter consistency..We made it!!!!

This is a box of macaroons that are pretty good looking..meaning..no crackss..=) Our recipe is pretty okay as it is not really sweet and our end results are satisfying..wheeeeee~ Yes there are few that crack at the begining, but we do have a few that looks gorgeous..=)

 This is one of it! hahaha..Crunchy on the outside , soft and chewy in the middle..XD

Super Kawai! hahaha..We do not have much coloring at home, so ya, we did it with pink color only..It is freezing in the freezer now waiting for us to munch it away slowly!! =)
