In my younger days, my mum will feed me and my brothers with vegetables, oats ( which I deteste and now my new love ), celery ( which me and my brothers hate the most last time and was converted into a celery lover ever since I stayed with B's family ), cooking with less oil etc etc. Because of that, I had been trained, to eat more vegetables because my mum said it is good for our body.
Then comes college whereby I learn more about food, and that comes my fascination towards cooking. I am exposed to different type of cuisines and learning more about their culture, how it was prepared and how it has changed. So instead of spending money on clothes and jewelries, I would rather spend it on food. I am not stingy when it comes to food, but as for other things, I am the total opposite.
Don't starve yourself. I do not have gastric, but I never will want myself to get gastric anytime in the future. Therefore, I eat accordingly and do not diet. No people! I don't starve myself and diet all the time!! I actually eat more than you think I do. =)
I do eat ice creams and dessert. Frankly speaking, I love eating them. But do know your limits, and don't over do it. It is not okay to eat one whole pint of ice cream while watching tv, gorging down one whole cake or even finishing one whole chocolate bar on your own. Eat in moderation, that is the key.
Last but not least, learn how to cook. Because by cooking your own food, you will learn how to appreciate food more.By cooking, you will put more efforts into it and you will understand, that food don't come easily. You can also control what your body consume, whether it is the amount of salt or oil you put and you know, that there are no funny things inside like MSG or food coloring.
Staying thin, doesn't mean you have to starve yourself. Eat the right thing and eat the right amount. Of course, better still if you can exercise regularly.=)
Anyways, just a random topic that I feel like writing after posting up my food pictures. haha. Hope you find it interesting. XD
