Study or not?

Hola everyone!

Finals are just in the corner and I am so relax now. hmmmmm. Well, it is not as hectic as our higher diploma finals where few subjects were cramped into one paper. As for now, it is pretty much individual papers where each stands on its own. Meaning, fail that subject, repeat that subject. At the same time, it is not some super hard subjects where we are suppose to memorize this and that, its all about critical thinking. So ya, I am very relax here and it is scaring me. haha. I don't feel safe because I am not as hardworking as before. Self conflict sia~~ =p

Despite finals are just around the corner, many many things are coming on its way as well. Last dinner with my fellow classmates, one week or short holiday, family gathering, and hoila...internship commence~~

Worried? Well, a little. Because I have not been working for a long time and I am expecting my body to be work shock when internship starts. You know, working in hospitality industry means long working hours, physically and mentally exhausted. I need to prepare many things as well and dayummmm, so many things to buy. For your info, I don't have many formal shirts ( I always wear something different..haha ), what more white formal shirt. If I don't hunt for some reasonably priced white shirt that fits me, I may result in buying the white school uniform. hahaha.

At the same time, I am pretty much excited because it is something that I have never done before and hopefully it is challenging and keep me motivated through the internship. Thank god you have cinema and starbucks up there to keep us occupied. If not, hmmmmm, i may go out of my mind. haha. Hopefully everything will go well there and OH! I wanted to say, thank god we are going there now because the weather is being dreadfully awful these week. haha. That is one good thing about working up the hill, cooling weather. XD

As usual, let's talking about something out of the picture. You know, having fun with friends outside and living together with friends can be two totally different story. Everyone is different in nature and they have different style of living that may not be acceptable to everyone. So ya, living in a house with housemates and friends can be very challenging. If you found people who you can live happily with, then congratulations, you are lucky and please treasure it. But.....If you met the total opposite housemates which steps on your tail all the time, then yeap, the best thing to do, is to open one eye, close one eye. Try your best to live together, and if it doesn't work out, like what people say, 'F it and move on'. So yeap, choose your housemates wisely, if not, it may turn to a total disaster.

Anyways, Happy weekend everyone. I shall try and be more hardworking so I don't feel insecure. =p BONNE CHANCE MES AMIES!!!

Sushi love

Who knew making sushi could be addictive and fun ya? haha. Last weekend we had another sushi making session at Dolores's house and huiseh! We had upgraded! Instead of having egg, jap cucumber and crabstick only, this time we have homemade tamago, tuna and also corn!

I even asked Kar Woon to make this cute little bento for my brother..

Three of us who woke up early in the morning and spent like three hours to make these sushi-s...

We should have done this long time ago before everyone is getting busy with work and finals like now. It is so much of fun to cook with friends. I wish I have more time before I start my internship...TT

Despite having sushi for brunch on Saturday, I had sushi again on Sunday's dinner as well. haha. Yeap. It is a sushi weekend for me..

Lesson learnt from past sushi making classes, don't add too much of vinegar and must follow the directions behind the rice packet before cooking the rice. Therefore, presenting the best sushi so far that I made with b. =)

From the normal sushi that we eat, to the slightly more fancy sushi like the picture above. I am satisfied. ^^

Our Mother's Day dinner for four. Sushi sushi, satay and also roasted chicken drummet. SEDAP! but can not finish! haha..

Other than our last sushi making session with Wai Mae, I had never made sushi before. Helping mum many years ago don't count right? =p Who knew that it is not that hard after all. Next thing that I want to challenge? Korean food! muahaha! Wish me luck!

Something out of the story...

Recently I have complicated thoughts running around my mind. Is it because of the horrific weather that is killing everyone? I don't know. Well, actually it is not really that complicated. It is like a weed that is growing uncontrollably and you just need to use a shovel and shovel it away. Nothing bad, just, thoughts, unnecessary thoughts. haha. Yea, I know I am complicated. =p Anyways, off to hit the books. toodles!!

There is no such thing as free ride in this world. You made the efforts, you get the results you want. Selfish you may say, but there is no shortcut in this world other than doing it by yourself.

Bits and bits

Finally, it was the last day of class. It was not as nostalgia as I thought it would be..Lecturers wishing us good luck in our final exams, wishing us good luck in our future career. and yeap. That's how it ended. Of course, nothing ends with a final group picture together isn't it? =)

This is not that complete pictures actually..The complete one with most of the people in it is not in my camera. =)

Most of the girls in my class..=)

Me with Tasha and Wai Kheng...=)

One last picture under the tree..=)

It is not a good bye yet of course as we still have our finals coming really soon..@@ Finance paper, Food Sociology paper, Health and Nutrition paper, Tourism ECONS! Oh my. Study study soon. So yeap, will blog about it when the time comes.

Wishing everyone good luck in finals ya! XD

Put that aside, I am sure everyone agrees that Don't judge a book by its cover correct? What I want to say is,   before jumping into the water, you need to ask people around about that person. Especially those that had known he/she for long. Because looks can be perceiving...So what if she is tall and pretty, doesn't mean that she is an angel. So what if he is good looking, doesn't mean that he is the right guy for you. So ya, before you regret much in the future, do some little investigation first.

Do you know what is fishing in a relationship? Hmmm..Perhaps the most unlikely person to fish, is the professional fisher. Believe me not? Try asking around and you will know. There are so many this kind of people that I found out and urgh. How I wish everyone can have a specs that can see a person's true color. How I wish~~

When was the last time you blush? I think I did yesterday. haha. Its always happy when you hear your loved one acknowledge you as 'the one' in front of other people. Thank you darling. Muakxx..

Anyways..Enough of ranting alraedy! Have a great weekend ahead of you! XD

End soon?

My emotions now? Down down down down down~~~

Firstly, my favorite couple in 'We Got Married' had ended their journey and I am feeling the pain inside. From the awkward and not so close couple, to the sweet and loving couple...It has finally came to an end...Because of them, I finally took the courage and learn how to play guitar...Before this, I had some fear towards guitar because I was once discouraged by 'someone' and also cheated in another way by another 'someone'. So ya..It was not easy to motivate myself that I also can do this even though my hand was small to press the chords. Somehow after watching this show and this couple, I am so pumped up to learn how to play guitar and one fine day, I would want to play the 'Banmal song' as well. And that, will be my goal from now.

It is really saddening to watch them separate and personally, I hate farewells..I really hate it...TT Oh well, life goes on isn't it? It is just a show, some may say.

Tomorrow, is my last day in class. Four years of uni life is finally coming to an end. ( Exams are not over yet ya! haha) Today, I handed in two of my last assignments and without any doubt, I am truly relieved. No need to stress about assignments anymore, no need to keep bugging people to do their work, no need to 'gek sam' anymore....ahhhhh~~~ But, no more classes. Yikes.

Yes, before this we always complaint that classes are boring, lecturers this and that, cannot find parking, admin sucks bla bla bla. But at the end of the day, I am sure most of us did enjoyed our uni life. Some lecturers may be sarcastic and mean, but certainly, some of them do make us laugh our butt off. Even though it is damn damn hard to wake up early in the morning for class, have to keep motivating myself to do work, having classes from early morning until late evening, went through numerous times of training, worked under enormous stress in kitchen during finals, went on road trips with friends, yumcha sessions, makan makan sessions etc. All in all, I will surely miss my uni life. TT

It is coming to an end really soon. Finally, this day has come.....Oh my. I don't know what to say really...TT

Wedding bell

Yesterday, it was certainly a magical day for many many people all around the world, especially for these two really special royal couple. Its the wedding of Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Catherine Middleton.

When I was 8 years old, in fact, it was the same day as our National Day which was 31 August 1997, Princess Diana, Princess of Wales had involved in an deathly accident. It was a huge news everywhere, and immediately, you can feel the sadness in the atmosphere. You watch TV, its all about the accident, the funeral, everyone is mourning, then when you read the newspapers, its the same.

Then with the Media keep pushing her story, her contribution to the poor, her marriage, and also her sons, everyone knew, including the 8 years old me. I was totally moved by all the good deeds she had done for the society, and at that time, I really felt sad. After her controversial accident, automatically the whole world's eyes will fall on her two child, Prince William and Prince Harry.

Seriously, how many prince that you know other than Prince William and Prince Harry? Of course when it comes to Prince William, everyone will go woo-ha over him because he is remarkably handsome and cute. ( Can I even say that? =p ) With all their royal news circulating the media, it is hard to not notice about these two princes.

Are you a believer in fairy tales? If you are a girl, most probably you would. And I always said I believed. haha. Who can deny that this is fairy tale wedding? The carriage, the flowers, the church, the mounted army, the dress, the princess and of course, the prince. I think this will be a wedding that every girl would dream of. As what I heard in the TV, in comparison with his parent's marriage which was arranged, they had dated for years before they are finally engaged. They even went through a break up and reconcile later.

So yes, fairy tales do exist in real life. Perhaps it won't be as flowery and romantic as we imagined, but sometimes, commoners love story or shall I put it as simple love story with a good ending is also a fairy tale comes true. It is all about perception perception perception, oh, not forgetting with a little bit of imagination. haha. Arrrr...love~~~~ XD

Congratulations!!

Imma bread fanatic

Talking about obsession with French Bread..I..am a bread fanatic...Not like most people who will feel satisfied after eating rice, for me, my comfort food is no more than bread. It is not like my family don't eat rice, it is just the way I punished myself during high school which cultured myself into loving bread and not rice. Yea. Unhealthy I know, but that time I don't know it is wrong you see.

So if you fly me to any country where their staple is bread, I would not have any problem at all. Especially in France where you eat bread almost every single day. XD After completing our dissertation, we ought to pampered ourselves with something so we went over to the supermarket to get some ham and cheese. Then we came across this very old bakery shop and I thought why not go in and have a look?

Its a really rustic looking bakery and hey, they have quite some selections of freshly baked breads and it is all pretty affordable..

I choose this.

I cannot really remember the actual name of this bread, but it is something like a fatter version of baguette. Why I choose this? Because it is cheap anddddd...When you slightly press it with the food thong, you can hear the crackling sound of the bread..When you hear that, according to ' Ratatouille ' it means that the bread is good..hahaha..Before that, this bread is huge ya! It is almost double of my palm size..XD

So what did we do with the bread?

Ham and Cheese Sandwich it is! Don't you think it looks like the ones we can get in France?

We have Black Pepper Pork Loin ham with tomato, Lollo Rosso, Tomato and Cheese, Not forgetting the Chardonnay Maille Mustard....Awesome stuff!! The bread is crusty on the outside but soft in the middle. It is so huge that I can barely put it into my mouth..haha

One more picture of the sandwich to satisfy my cravings now..haha

Arrrrr...How nice if I could eat a good old sandwich with coffee at a park, especially when the weather is chilly and nice. My lecturer who is a French told us, they always go picnic in France. But when he is in Malaysia, don't ever think about it because you will die by doing so. True enough. haha.

Considering the torching hot sun these few days and super heavy rain at the most unexpected time, you are really out of your mind if you are thinking of going out for a picnic in the afternoon. How I wish I am in France now! My mustard supply from Maille ( Paris ) is running low now! Arrrrrrrrr~~~~

Lesson

I heard so many stories recently and it took me some time to digest everything. Mix emotions, right or wrong, rationality. it doesn't matter anymore.

As long as you know what you are doing, you will take the responsibilities and bear with the cost of it..Life is all about making decisions after decisions. You will never know whether it is right or wrong until you see the results.

Go with the norm, or take the risk? I am always a believer in taking a risk, but not so much like B. Here comes the differences between a men and a women. Guys, they tend to just 'take the risk', while women, we will ' take the risk after analyzing the pros and cons'.

Love is about learning from each other. I completely agree with it.

I am sure everyone is quite familiar with this word, stress. If you know me before this, I am very much a stressed person. I am worried about this and that, stressed for small little things etc. B is a very calm person, he don't stress himself. Or shall I say, stress is not a word in his dictionary. So in these two years, I slowly learnt that stress, will do you no good but worsen the situation. I am more relax now as before, and even though sometimes when stress strikes, it will not really affect me physically or emotionally as much as it was in the past.

Been through some downs in my life, and I know how much I hated all those dramas. So I am pretty much contented with my life right now. Simple, but I am happy. I know what I want in my life, and will work my ways until I reach my goal.

Of course sometimes I will still stray here and there, but its always a learning experience isn't it? You fall, you climb back up and you walk again, reminding yourself to never fall back into the same hole again. That is what that makes life interesting.

Next time when you have your own kids, you will tell them, ' Last time when mummy was a kid just like you, I always do........'

I hope I am making some sense here. haha. Anyways. Another week to go with loads of replacement classes until late evening. @@ Talking about Monday blues. haha

Post Dissertation Syndrome

Yes, we are all excited after finishing our dissertation, but, most of us suffered from what I call the-- Post Dissertation Syndrome. So what is it about?

1. After days and weeks of dueling our brain for dissertation, every single bits of our brains are so drained off that you don't feel like doing anything at all.

2. At the same time, without dissertation, (like for me, my normal dissertation working time is after 10pm until before I sleep) You suddenly felt empty because you have nothing to do. Even though you still have assignment to do, you will tell yourself, please reward yourself by having a break. Hence, you have nothing to do.

3. You tend to wake up earlier and sleep later. Everyday, you will forced yourself to wake up earlier to do dissertation, and stayed up until late at night to do your work. But once it is over, it is not easy to adjust back your body time.

4. You are so used to type type type and type, you have no problem at all with writing long long essays. ( Well, typing crap if you may say =p )

5. Before this, you will be putting up in Facebook ( I hate dissertation!!! Im so stressful!! etc..), and after finishing the dissertation, people put ( I am bored...why am I awake...etc..) hahaha..

So yes, do you have all these syndromes?

And yesterday, to celebrate our merdeka from Dissertation, my classmates went out to have a drink. Me and B supposed to be having our dinner at SS15, but thanks to the forever packed roads, we take away instead. and guest what!!! Taylors is such a great place for picnic at night! haha

Without much cars and students, without all the noise and stuffy weather, it is....so calm. First time in my life, I am liking my University, this new campus. All the lights, the lake, the nice and chilly weather, ahhhhhhh~ Such a nice place to hang out.

Choose a nice spot overseeing the lake and commercial block, and there you go, romantic picnic at campus. haha..

Korean food from The street Cafe

Nom nom nom nom nom

I don't mind going back to campus and picnic anytime soon! haha..Ohhhh! You can see couples ber-romance near the lake o...Some said you can even see some tongue action going on..oppppssss..haha..

Picnic again soon? =p Don't forget to bring candles.hahaha..

After our lovely dinner, we met up with our friends and went over to Picadilly and have a drink or two. Oh well, it is more like two Calsberg Beer Tower and one Guinness Beer Tower. Thats all really, not much. hahaha..I did not drink of course, thanks to my time of the month. Like what Vincent said, the best excuse ever. haha. Had a great time chilling after all the hard work. We should do that again soon..=)

Anyways...Bonne Weekend people!

How Much Do You Make An Hour?

With a timid voice and idolizing eyes, the little boy greeted his father as he returned from work, "Daddy, how much do you make an hour?" Greatly surprised, but giving his boy a glaring look, the father said: "Look, son, not even your mother knows that. Don't bother me now, I'm tired." "But Daddy, just tell me please!? How much do you make an hour," the boy insisted.

The father finally giving up replied: " Twenty dollars per hour." "Okay, Daddy? Could you loan me ten dollars?" the boy asked. Showing restlessness and positively disturbed, the father yelled: "So that was the reason you asked how much I earn, right?? Go to sleep and don't bother me anymore!"

It was already dark and the father was meditating on what he had said and was feeling guilty. Maybe he thought, his son wanted to buy something. Finally, trying to ease his mind, the father went to his son's room.

"Are you asleep son?" asled the father. "No, Daddy. Why?" replied the boy partially asleep. "Here's the money you asked for earlier," the father said. "Thanks, Daddy!" rejoiced the son, while putting his hand under his pillow and removing some money. "Now I have enough! Now I have twenty dollars!" the boy said to his father, who was gazing at his son, confused at what his son just said. "Daddy could you sell me one hour of your time?"

ITS DONE

After months and months of grueling and dwelling with my Dissertation, I HAD FINALLY COMPLETED AND PRINTED IT OUT!!!!

Because this is my hardwork, it deserved a HUGE picture in my blog!!!! =p =p

Well, actually I completed it on last weekend to be exact, but after consulting my tutor, he asked me to add something extra since I still have some time before the due date. What is the harm right? It is due this Friday though..=) =)

Please do not underestimate this booklet, it is 73 pages of my own blood and sweat for MONTHS!!! I had been fighting this battles since months ago and now, it is finally completed and I am so relieved! Well, the exact feeling of relief will be tomorrow after I pass everything to the exam centre.

After piles and piles of endless readings and digging for journals, highlighting and clustering each information in each journal, hunting high and low for respondents to interview, conducting the interview, struggling to construct the scary and ever feared literature review, the long long hours of transcribing the recording of interview into words, reading it over and over again, clustering the information, analyzing it, finalizing my dissertation, and now, it is finally OVER.

I have no idea whether I did a great job on it or not, but I know, I did try my best. I had been very organized from the very beginning, faced some bumps in the roads while finding for people to interview, struggling to motivate myself etc. Setting goals for myself to achieve every single day in order to finish earlier, at some point, I even thought that I will turn crazy soon. But, hope all my efforts are worth it at the end. Cross my fingers.

When I look at other people struggling to finish at the very end, I know, I did a great job in organizing myself, beating myself up every time I feel like giving up or not doing anything, forgiving myself for not pushing it too far and also believing in myself, my topic and my goal.

Therefore, I will not say I hate dissertation, in fact, I think I had learnt a lot of things from it. I know how to organized myself better, I know that if I set my eyes on the goal, I will reach my target, and somehow, from my research, I knew something more about women. =) =)

Yes, I am free now, but not too long. I have a major assignment coming up REAL soon, presentation on Tuesday and nothing has yet to be done because everyone is busy with Dissertation, and also another assignment coming up right after that.

Good luck to others who are still working on it! Push the accelerator hard hard hard and drink more coffee along the way to stay awake..GAMBATE!!! =) =) Party after that!! wohooooooo

The blind side

Watched this movie on HBO this evening, and seriously, it is very inspiring..its call....

THE BLIND SIDE

It is about how a lady name Leigh Ann and her family helped Michael aka Big Mike through his struggled life. In the end , Michael became a very successful footballer thanks to the encouragement and trust of Leigh Ann's family towards him.

If you want to know the full story plot, please google it and read it on Wikipedia. It is a true story by the way and an award winning movie. The reason why this story touched me is because there is indeed very passionate and kind people out there in this world who are willing to help a total stranger. A total stranger who became part of the family.

I think the movie was very well directed and Sandra Bullock really deserved an Academy Awards for her acting in this movie. I really really love this Leigh Ann character because she is so tough and strong, yet kind in side. The fact that it is a true story makes it even inspiring because you know, people always built this protective wall from strangers because of the ruthless reality. How this Michael character had changed Leigh Ann's family and how kind her family is towards him despite how little they know about him, showed that there are still kindness in this world, there are still, love.

You know today, we came accross WWF booth where they are finding for people to support their campaign. It was WWF, so we don't think its a spoof and we supported it. And surprisingly, we were their first customers even though they had been there since morning. ( It was almost 5pm at that time ). They said, people are still not being supportive towards the environment conservation these days despite all the natural disasters that were occurring around the world.

The moral of the story is, show some kindness in the world. Do something to make a different, even though it is the least that we can do. =)

p/s Do watch 'The Blind Side'!! It is really very touching!

Nails and food

For the moment, my work is 95 percent done. Left the final part where I suppose to translate it into French. OMG! I don't even know how on earth am I going to translate those difficult words into French where else my French is pretty rusty now..@@

Anyways...I painted my fingers recently!!!!!

And toes

Yes I know it is not a big deal as everyone paints their fingernails now, including guys. Ever since I was enrolled into hospitality school, I never even bother to paint them anymore. Practical classes like Kitchen and Restaurant strictly don't allow long fingernails, what more with nail polish. Only when degree class started where we have zero practical classes, then only we are free to paint our nails into rainbow color. Another reason for me not painting my nails? I frequently cook at home, therefore exposure to knives are very high and I tend to scratch my nails pretty often. Oh, the main reason is because, I am lazy. =p

Then one fine day when we went jalan jalan, I bought this make up set with nail polish inside! Red and pink! Oh yea. So here I am..painting my nails first time since the last time we girls went out and Kar Woon painted my nails light blue and yellow I think...=) Do I feel girly again? Well, I feel young actually! hahaha..Partially because it brought back some memories in high school where I love painting my nails during holidays.

You know, I always love cooking, not professionally, but just cooking for the fun of it. I know I am not qualified as a professional chef in the kitchen, but cooking at home, I think I do fine. Somehow, I am very sensitive towards MSG and my whole body will feel uncomfortable after consuming something with MSG in it.So I prefer eating at home, at least I know there is no MSG in it at all. Cooking lunch and dinner? Pas ne problem! And I think I am getting hold of baking as well.

So one fine day I am feeling creative under the influence of Iron Chef, so I made Sawi Fried Rice..

It is basically normal fried rice with fresh shitake mushrooms and carrot, dried prawns and sawi of course.

The end results? I think it is very homely. Somehow after you eat, you will feel that this fried rice is very humble and homely. It is not fancy like restaurant food. The ingredients are easily accessible, and very easy to cook as well.

Stuffed Chicken Breast with balsamic mushroom and bacon

On top of the sawi fried rice, we have something that is fancier. Balsamic vinegar and mushroom is a win win combination, top it up with the smokiness of the bacon and the moist you have from the stuffing, mummmm mummmmm. This is good stuff! =)

Its not that hard to cook really..It is just time consuming and perhaps you need some motivation to cook, like cooking for your loved one so he/she won't be hungry. haha. Have some patience while learning, but as you get the feel of it, you will be cooking like a pro is no time. =)

A small little picture of the nerdy me in specs. =p

Bonne weekend people! XOXO

Mistake

Now I believe that when you are young and foolish, you will make mistakes that you will regret forever. Mistakes that you could never, ever, change back.
No matter how long time had washed away that mistake, it will still be there.

Yes I regret like hell, but I know there is nothing I could do to turn back time.
I can only move on, and think of a solution.

No matter how people look at me in the future
It was a mistake that I acknowledge
and something that I would not want to repeat again in the future

Now that I am more mature, I see how foolish I was at that time
Childish thinking that leads to inevitable mistake

Do not let emotions to have control over you
Emotion is a scary thing, it will lead to people doing things that they are unaware of
Rationality, common sense were all thrown out the window
What left, is pain that will last forever

Acceptance of your own mistakes
Be positive, think positive

Rambling again

Anyways..I am reaching the ending of my infamous dissertation SOON..I just finished my analyze yesterday and thinking oh, i am going to finish it soon! Mana tau when I start doing my second last part Recommendation, then only I realize it is not going to be a smooth ride this one..(TT) Anyways..It will be done soon enough..Just need some tweaks here and there, I am ready to print! Wohooooo~ Just hope I can make it through recommendation and general conclusion tonight.

I am already planning on how am I going to celebrate after handing it the things and opps, thanks to the forgetful me, I had totally forgotten that my friend's concert was on next Saturday where I had just make plans with my girl friends. Opppss. Sorry, girls are more important. =p I can not wait for Eunice to come back though! Finally! In less than a month time! Its time for girlie talk on korean guys! hahaha..

Anyways, many friends who went overseas are coming back for summer holiday and I can not wait to see them! XD XD Miss cari makan with them...but too bad, our internship is also starting at the same time they are coming back...But anyhow, I am sure we can make up time to meet up...XD Ngapsss!

Alright, I am going to talk about something totally different which is my brother. You know in the past, I don't really talk to my brothers because, I am the only girl and somehow, I feel a little bit indifferent. And our family in the past was pretty uptight because my mum you know, if you have seen my mum, you would have known she is very fierce and scary. But things had changed recently because somehow, my mum and dad's mindset had changed, which is a damn good thing and I don't deny it. haha.

So fine day, I was trying to dig from my brother who he likes and his really personal life, and surprisingly, he was being really honest with me. haha. Perhaps I was being a little bit pushy and he cannot resist me. =p Despite being 3 years younger than me, he was very mature when it comes to relationship. He said he don't want to start a relationship because he wants to concentrate in studies, then he said, what if his relationship did not end up well like my other brother. When I heard him saying that, I thought he was quite cute. haha. Because this brother of mine, I think he is the most serious person in the house and always being very 'guai' at home. Hearing him says that, makes me think, oh, he is really innocent and guai.

But recently, he found someone that he likes and I was so excited. So one fine day, I asked him, so how's love life. He said, very complicating, haiy. Well to be brief, it is about religion problem which is, not really serious I must say.And then he did something really bold though, he asked my parents:

Can I convert into Christianity?

I was like..WAHHH! You so brave! hahaha..Not to my surprise, my dad said, as long as it is not Muslim then can dy...Me and my other brother did not even toughen up and ask my parents on religion issue and there goes my another brother went to my parents without any second thoughts. And this was before he even started with that girl..That, I must compliment him on his boldness. haha..

The point is, I always think that my brothers are still small kids and don't know anything about love. The next thing you know, we are talking about relationships among each other. The younger one I don't really know yet, because he is quite mysterious at home. haha. Perhaps in a few more years after he steps into college life. The other two, they turned out to be a real fine lad. Not trying to compliment them just because they are my brothers. haha..Come to think of it, I am really proud of them. Anyway, don't try and bully my brothers ar! I will kick your ass! XD

Love them..=)

Oh! Sushi Midvalley

Because I was feeling lifeless while doing dissertation the whole day, I need to get out of the room and do something other than thinking about my work...So yes, went out to jalan jalan and hey! We discover a new Japanese Restaurant to nom nom in Midvalley...XD

I was feeling rather excited because can dress nice nice to jalan jalan...=) =)

It was called Oh! Sushi, located at Midvalley.

Compared to the Japanese Restaurant before this, it was rather bright and comfortable I must say. First impression? Check!

When comes to menu, yes, there are lots of sushi selections, but by the look of their sushi bar, hmmm..I will go for ramen and bento instead. Talking about ramen, not many Japanese Restaurant serves varieties of Ramen other than Ichiban Ramen that I knew of. My favorite Zanmai restaurant only serve like one type of shoyu ramen? Sobs..So yes, I choose..opppsss..I forgotten the name of it..hahaha..

It is a pork broth based with Ebi Tempura, LOTS of pork slices, kimchi ( My love! ), carrots, cabbage and onions.

It was suppose to be super spicy, but it came out, hmmm..In my spicy ranking, it would be only 2 out of 10. Haha..Anyways, it tasted good nevertheless. The broth was flavorful with a BIT of spiciness, the ramen has a springy texture that most people like and the portion is HUGE....I can't even finish half of it..haha..oppsss..

B ordered green tea soba bento set which consist of green tea soba of course, salad on the side, tempura, miso soup, cawanmushi and also California roll!

Cute right the quail egg?? =)

The quail egg suppose to be mixed with spring onion, raddish and also the broth for soba..The quail egg yolk even floats! haha

B's set was RM20.90. So tell me? Is it worth it? I think it is DAMN worth it. You have so many things in that bento set itself and by the end of the meal, you will be too stuffed to eat any other things. haha. By the way, the cawanmushi is AWESOME though...It totally melts in your mouth....slurrrppss..

I like their tea pot also...=)

In the nutshell, it is a great place if you would like to try out different varieties of ramen..They have two pages of ramen alone in the menu and the portion is huge. So I say, it is worth it. And of course not forgetting their bento sets, it comes with many other side dishes that will certainly make it value for money. So ya, if you want to try some affordable ramen and also bento sets, why not try Oh! Sushi at Midvalley. But if you are looking for sushi on conveyor belt, hmmm, please go to Zanmai..haha..In my opinion, Zanmai's sushi has better quality compared to any other Japanese restaurant at the same range. =) =)

I know I am vain, snapping pictures of myself..haha..opppss..I did not wear my shoes properly..haha..

HUHSEI! Atleast I don't have to think about dissertation for that few hours..worth it! =p

Arrrrr...Have to go back to work now...=( =( Anyways..It will be over soon! Gambate!!!!!
