Bring it on!

Nowadays when you look around, you see so many people getting married, having children even though they are at my age or younger. Then you think again yourself, are you mature enough to handle all the responsibilities?

I am a person, who walks by my plan. When I have a plan, means I had thought about it thoroughly and know that it is the best choice for me. I don't just only plan ahead, but really far ahead. If you ask me now, what are my plans for the next five, I can answer you with no doubt, but! Plans may differ due to unforeseeable variables like 2012, economic ups and downs, human relationships etc.

After a one-on-one talking session with myself, I realize that at this stage, I am not ready to take the big step yet. Not because I have not met the right guy, in fact, B is the best thing that could ever happened to me. Personally, I do not think that I am mature enough when it comes to my mental strength, and also I need time to work on my financial base before starting a family. Therefore, I am giving myself 3-4 years time to boast my EQ and also to fill in my bank with $$.

After all the hoohah, everything had calmed down and things will go as what we had planned earlier. Thank god. I also realize that everyone who is around me really care about me and love me a lot even though they are not  very expressive about it. And, I would also like to thank B for being so patient and supportive towards me, and thank god that I had found you in my life. No one, would have done things like how you did, and no one, would have chosen and accept me like how you did.

Two more weeks, and I am leaving Malaysia on a whole new journey in life ---- joining the work force. Excited? Well, to be frank I am quite excited. I know it would be challenging, tiring and also very stressful, but this is what life is about isn't it? Accept the challenge and survive! haha.

Bring it on!!!

Trimmed

Im such a lazy bum when I am back in Malaysia when it comes to blogging. haha. Oh well, I was busy catching up with my drama and tv at home you see. Anyway, today I finally trimmed my eyebrow! Yeeeehu. I  always have this very thin eyebrow and I don't even dare to do anything with it because I was thinking since I have such little eyebrow left, why should I even trim it.

And today, I had a chance to do so after following Kar Woon to Zeranium. I ended up having a back massage session and had my eyebrow trimmed. Honestly, I can live with this everyday! hahaha. It was very relaxing and not awkward at all considering it was my very first time. I felt so pampered after the session ended. Now I know, once in a while you got to reward yourself by doing these ya. Hmmm. I have start changing my mind set from now. haha. Anyways, I am really satisfied with how my eyebrows are now since it is nice and neat. Gotta work hard on maintaining it from now onwards! =)

Time is literally going by faster every day and it is a bit terrifying knowing that I have to start packing and leave Malaysia soon. Damn. Slow it down already! TT I still want to enjoy doing nothing at home without worrying about time, date, work and money. But no matter what it is, I will make the most out of the time I have now.

Sorry for being very vain, but my camwhoring juice were flowing because I was wore Cheongsam the other day. Hence, these pictures keke ::

A great week ahead for everyone and as for me, im going on a makan makan trip to Melaka with my family! =)

First time backpacker hostel

Have you guys stayed in a backpacker hostel before? 20 person Mixed Dorm to be exact? haha. Well, my first was in Singapore and currently, I am in another backpacker hostel in Singapore. I always wanted to know how it feels like to stay in one, and hey, my first experience was not bad at all.

The first one that I stayed in Singapore was the BEST! Its call the Beary Good Hostel located in Pagoda Street, Chinatown Singapore. It was remarkably small, but, clean and cozy. The bed was ready as we arrived, clean pillow sheets, blanket and bedsheet. Air con can be on the whole day, you get free milk, tea and coffee the whole day, free wifi, laptops and even an ipad for the guests to use. Yes, you are sharing a room with total strangers around you, but, it is somehow very safe. You have your own key cards so you can use whenever you are going out, and because of this, it is very secure. It will only cost you SGD26 for one bed for one night, owh, breakfast included as well. =) One thing that I must mentioned though, the location of this hostel is VERY strategic. You just alight from Chinatown MRT ( Pagoda Street exit ), and you can see the hostel right on your left. How convenient is that? I miss there already! TT

As compared to my first experience, the one I am staying now, is fairly bland. Well, it is SGD6 cheaper than Beary Good, but, you only have half an hour usage of internet on the computer, you have to walk quite a bit from the MRT station ( We were lost while finding for the hostel. ), and oh, the location. Hmmmm. In the morning, it is perfectly normal actually. But once the sun sets, everything changes. Neon lights, girls? Does it ring any bell to you? haha. Well, I don't even dare to go out of the hostel at night. Dang. And, I have to stay here for one week! =( Hence, turning myself into books. ( I am even amaze by how fast I can finish a book.)

When you are staying in this kind of backpacker hostel, it is no surprise that you will encounter with people from all over the world, US, UK, Aussie you name it, not forgetting sharing the same room with them. Hmmm. haha. Waking up with hunky topless guy in the same room as you, *ahem* is pretty normal here. But, it doesn't surprise me really, because I am use to it already? haha. That, is the good part. Bad part, is when someone started to snore at night. Dang! Close your nose or mouth already! haha..

Besides all those, you get to hear live world broadcast right in the lounge as people started to talk about their culture, things that are going on around, some they even talk about Malaysia. ( Which I have to disagree at times though I kept quiet and mind my own business. Come on! You have a native Malaysia in the house yo. haha. ) It is pretty interesting at times. But being a typical Asian, I am not as friendly as most of them as I just want to do my own things quietly. Ahhh. This has to change one day or so. haha.

Well, that's my experience staying at a backpacker hostel. What about yours? =)

=)

Scare much? It is not like I had never done this before, in fact, I have always been moving here and there. But, this is different of course. Finding house in foreign land ( well, not so foreign. Even some locals said I am more familiar with places around than them.=p ), going through all the hustle bustle or working permit, medical check ups, finding for jobs, going through interview etc. Everything is new to me, a starting of a whole new journey.

It is tiring to travel up and down just to settle things, hope it is worth it in the end. If you ask me, how many years am I planning to work here? I, really cannot say. My ultimate goal, is to earn as much as I can, save as much as I could and see whatever opportunities that are awaiting me.

But, one can never plan too far ahead as there are always other variables in life that could change your path. Right? Like what people said, just go with the flow and see where it leads to.

I am blabbering and my internet limit time is running out. haha. I miss unifi!!!! Anyways, I just need to write it out. keke. Time to go then~~ Till tomorrow..=p Happy weekend ahead..and Owh! Happy Graduation Dolores!

A little update

I, am currently in Singapore,  stoning and being a total nerd. I was so bored that I finished two books in two days..@@ Well, for the sake of saving money and not get drench or tanned, I turn to book to past time. Not bad huh? Anyways, I just got back from our Krabi Tour, and immediately transported to Singapore to settle of working permit. Within one hour after we reached Changi Airport, we have to rush over to the main office of our company. And within another hour, we were taking our medical check up. How awesome is that? TT

It was my first time doing a medical check up ( Blood test, Urine Test, X-ray and also physical test ) Blood test was okay, a whole good portion of my blood was being sucked into the test tube and sent to the test lab. Urine test was the most bizarre experience I had. I was given a bottle and was asked to pee in it.I had never done this before you see. I don't know about other people, but I can't aim perfectly. haha. Nevertheless, I still had the bottle filled. Then I was thinking damn, I got to clean this bottle properly. I took tonnes of tissue to wipe the bottle so that the nurse won't have to dirty her hands. Well, she had her gloves on, so...worried for nothing. haha. Well, my first urine test it is.

After the medical test, I was a little paranoid. What if I had HIV, what if I am pregnant? What if I have malaria somehow. Oh well, test was out today. I do not have HIV, I am not pregnant and yes, I am fit enough to past the medical test. Thank god. haha. Arrr well, I always think about the worst at times like this.

I also got my room settled while I am here. It is not a palace for sure, not as comfy or spacious as my home, but I suppose as long as I have a bed, air con, wardrobe and a place to online, it is good enough as a start. In the future, I just have to save like hell so I could afford a better room. =) Just hang in there for one year! I can do this.

While we are here this time, we tried to spend like how we are suppose to when we start working. Thinking what could be our best possible budget spent on food by roaming around market, supermarket and even experimenting with it now.Working life abroad, I am feeling it baby! Dang! I suppose this is how we learn to be independent and surviving the city. We can do this! I hope.

Anyways, I cannot wait to get home now! Last month before I start working and I have to meet up with everyone! Till next week till next week! God, I am rottening here. By the way, I cannot leave now even though I had settled most of the things because my permit card can only be collect next Wed, on the day I am flying back. Damn.

^^

Hello everyone! How are you doing this week? As for me, I am pretty much free at the moment. Meeting up with people, watching my drama at home and just, hanging around. haha. Well! I have a good news for myself! Which is, I had secured a job in Singapore, together with B! ^^ Yeap. We had just signed on our employment letter and just waiting for the company to work on our working permit! =) =) If everything goes well, we would be leaving Malaysia and start on our working life in mid November!

Currently I am still waiting for the permit to be done, then will go down to Singapore once more for medical check up and signing contract for our place to stay etc. Yeap. This month will most probably be spent on settling down in Singapore. How fast right? Just three weeks ago I had finished my internship, and in one month time, I would be in Singapore already. kekeke. Time to save some money people!

My hair is pretty long now isn't it? Can't wait for it to grow longer so I can do something with it. =) Straightening again? or dyeing it brown? Hmmmm. Still deciding. Let's wait for two months or so.

This is a bag I bought in Singapore during my previous trip down with my brother. Loving the pink!

Then while I was packing in my things, I realize that everything I had in my bag was SOOO pink! In fact everything is pink. How did I ended up to be a pink geek? haha. I suppose I was buying things in pink unconsciously and in the end, it is all pink. Oh well, time to move on to other colors. =)

I am so excited on starting a new life. Getting a place to stay, getting a new phone number, internet line, getting used to work, travelling around in MRT, you name it. Will it be the same as how I imagine it? or will it be better! Let's hope for the best shall we?

p/s Going to Krabi in a few days time! OH YEAH! Rain rain please go away...

Second phase

I had finally step on the second phase or stepping into the work life -- attending interviews. I had been sending out resumes until I even lost count of what I had applied during my internship period and had been waiting anxiously for replies from them. In the end, it all paid off and I manage to attend every interview that I had arranged during most recent trip down South.

It was a really tiring trip as I have to travel here and there for the interviews, rushing here and there just to be at the meeting place earlier, most of the time waiting for the interview time etc. Nervous much? nahhh..I just want to nail it and get it done at that time. Because I know, if I don't get it this time, i may need to go down another time and it would be a waste of time and money.

As for the results? I do not have any confirmation yet. Verbal agreement yes, but you will never know what will happen until you have the black and white documents in your hand. Till then, I will still remain hopeful and pray hard that everything will fall into place smoothly.

People said, when you apply for your first job, look for something that you truly love doing instead of focusing on the pay. Indeed, this is what I am trying to do. But of course, the pay must be reasonable as well. For now, I cannot tell that this is something that I really love doing. You need to start working for a few months first before the reality sinks in, right?

How i wish, how i wish I do not have to go through the waiting phase. Oh well, if only I can skip this part, but, it will never happen anyway. So, let's just wait. =) Wish me luck people!!!!!

Hopeful

How will you know whether you will not regret the decision you had made now? I guess only time will tell. Sometimes you have to sacrifice something for a better future, and this is one of it. I hope for a better return and it better be good. Fingers crossed!

2

Left two more working days and we are going DOWN DOWN DOWN! Cannot wait! =) =) Three and half months just flew by and hey! I will be free free free! For one month at least. =p So many plans in my head and I am just waiting for the right time to execute it. I will be busy busy running everywhere to get attend interviews, researching online, catching up with friends and also cooking of course. Gosh, how I miss homecook food and not those menggelikan cafeteria food. *vomitsss*

All those humiliating moments here, getting cursed, scolded for nothing by stupid customers will soon be forgotten, and SCREW YOU ALLLLL! Muahahahha! =p Oh well, just to release some steam. I will soon return to civilization, to normal human behaviors. XD

These few days have been really cold and misty here, as a matter of fact, the coldest I had ever been here. But luckily yesterday the sky cleared off at night and we managed to catch a glimpse of full moon on Mooncake Festival! How lucky..=) Hopefully the weather will behave until this Friday and after that, you can have all the mood swing you want.

We will be going down to Singapore again end of this month, but this time is purely to look for jobs and attend interviews. I swear...=p Hopefully we will receive some good news soon and everything will fall in place smoothly. God bless...=)

^^

Cannot wait for this Friday to come! Wohoooooooo~ At the mean time, pray hard that these two days will go by smoothly..=)

10

Ten days left till the end of my internship! OH YEAH! Who knew three months had just passed by in a blink of eyes ya. I cannot wait to end this, and gain back my sanity of a normal life down the hill. I need to keep myself updated with the world, go home and enjoy dancing in the living room alone without any disruption, cooking, sleep until sun shine on my pigu...AHHH! Just the thing I need, before jumping into the working boat.

Even though I detest working here, but in the end if you would have asked me what have I learnt here, i will say I had gained a lot working here. You can see the ugliest side of people, greedy, rude, impatient, dirty, lust, you name it.  At first I really could not understand why is there people like this on earth and how the heck can they treat others with such ignorance and disrespect. As time goes by, I realize that this is a test for me.A test for my patient level and how I can handle these kind of customers.

Imagine myself repeating what I said again and again for eight hours, everyone will ask me the same thing over and over again. Some just bump in even though I am talking to another customers, some complaint, some have some weird body odor, some smoking like no one's business, some just don't understand what I said even though I had pressed the slow button x10000000 times, and some, are just plain rude.

Customers are like that, and management? One word to describe, inconsiderate. They only care about revenue revenue revenue. When it comes to staff level, it is just, unfair. Hmmm..since it is a sensitive issue, i should just keep it low. For those who are interested, please ask me personally. =)

Oh ya, back to the main topic. Through this internship, I had learnt to not take things personally, and how to be professional no matter what shit that was thrown at me. Tell me, where else can you learn that?

Anyways, counting down ten days till my freedom!!!! =) =) =)

Push two aside and more to come. Hopefully

Trip down South...It was suppose to be holiday and work at the same time. But guess what? In this trip alone, I had turned down two offers. One to work in China and another interview in Singapore. Reasoning is either salary can not even compensate the air ticket, what more saving money. Then, applied without research before hand and realizing that this is not my cup of tea.

The moral of the story is, you need to research and think twice before applying for something. My Singapore trip was a fruity one as I had set my mind on where I want to work and giving me a head start of what to expect in the future. Even though I may need to start from the rock bottom with minimal wages, but I guess you have to start somewhere somehow isn't it?

Time to hunt for job vacancies over again and expecting the excruciating waiting period again. I should keep my hopes up high and pray for the best. Gambate yo! I can do this. Time to go back up the hills for two and half weeks then I am done with City of Entertainment. Thank god.

p/s My parents and aunty keep pestering me to work up the hill after I finish studies and I guess they gave up. Because they know no matter what they say, it will not change my mind. ^^ I am a stubborn person I know. =p Happy holidays people! and Happy working to me.

Dream

Dream. Do you have a dream? Or maybe dreams?

I always dream of the things that I could have done, or things that will never happen in real life. I will close my room door, and fantasizing the things that I can only achieve in my dreams.

I have so many things that I want to do, but I can't. I can only hear from others what they had seen, what they had experienced. Jealous much? Yes. The more I hear, the more I want to do it. But, financially, I can't. Some people just take it for granted, and misused the luxury that was spared. If only it was given to me....

Sometimes, fate is a funny thing. When it is yours, it will always be yours. That is what I believe in, and the only thing that I can believe in. Do I have confident in myself? Maybe yes, maybe no. I believe that I can do this, achieve this, but who will believe me by reading through one paper?

I have so many plans in the future, just waiting for the right time to do it. It is not that I don't know what I want, or I don't have any goal. I have, tonnes of it. But I am just waiting for the right chance, the right path to walk.

I am still waiting, searching, hoping that everything will fall into place.

Good news please come

Sorry for the lack of update...Been pretty uptight recently because of my frequent job hunting...For your info, I had been crazily hunting for a job after the completion of my internship next month! WOHOOOOO! FINISHING!!!!! put that aside first..haha...Yeap, so, I am constantly thinking what I want and where I want to go. Administration side? Operations? Sales? Food and Beverage???? Whenever I have the free time, I will think about it...Imagine what is going on in my brains these few days...haha..

Anyways, hopefully I will get some good news very soon. Then it is time to earn some money and start on my real real life! Wish me luck people!

Sober

Sometimes, past will remain at the past. No matter how many pictures taken, videos captured, it is only the past. Pictures can be deleted, videos can be deleted, but memory? That is something that I can not control. Time past, memories fade, but some things, will remain unchanged.

Here I am, learning how to handle myself at work, handle my emotions so I will not take things personally, battling with cough and flu and bang! A slap at my forehead. Saw it, watched it, so? I can't change it. Past doesn't matters when future is the one that is in my hands right now. Right?

Self control, is what I need to learn. Do not take things personally, is what I need to learn. I need to learn that I do not have to please everyone in my life. Haters will still be there whether I like it or not. As long as I am honest to myself, I have nothing to lose.

I am sober don't worry. Just, need to rant.=)

A long and whinny post. =p

Hellossss!

Time for some update! Well, work is still the same. Though I was standing for one week straight for promotions..Hmph! Anyways.Everything is going great now since I am doing 10-6 shift now and time is passing by like rocket. Wohoooo.=p August is coming by and cross my fingers that my 8 days leave will be approved...Well, it is the month of Raya and National Day after all. Public holidaysssss~~

Currently I am starting my job hunting after my internship and hey, how come online job application is as complicated as face to face interview? I need to fill in this and that, answer this and that. I will spam everything that is fit to myself and hopefully I will get some reply soon. =) Fingers crossed again.

Aza aza fighting!!

Anyways, one thing I realize about working up here, you will meet tonnes and tonnes of different people whether it is the colleague you are working with, or the customers. Everyone told me that I am very different from what I was when I first stepped in as I am quiet and rarely talk to other people. Yes, it is a very simple survivor strategy. When you step into a new environment, take some time to observe things around you so you won't be harm. Then when you know that you have everything in your hands, then it is time to socialize.

You see people who are followers, people who are hardworking but never get a chance to move upwards, the differences between having a degree cert and high school education, people uses girl's advantage to move upwards, copy cats, office gossips and you name it. So many things going on and hey, I am not getting involved in any. Yeap, you have fun listening and talking about it, but do not get sucked into it. That is my survival strategy. As long as I can end my internship safely without any trouble, I am grateful enough.

Yes, there are things that you are unsatisfied with, things that you disapprove, but there is nothing you can do about it. The people that I disrespect the most, people that I do not agree with, many. As long as they do not step on my tail, I am cool. Do not disturb my rice bowl, if not, I will bite. As simple as that.

Work aside. =) =)

Seems like I have't talk about this little gift from my mum. =) Well, if you would have known me well, I am not a person who is fussy over handbags, what more branded bag. So here you go, my first ever.....

COACH! =)

My mum brought over this huge bag all over from USA for me and gosh, it cost a fortune that will be paid by my mum's credit card of course. haha. She bought for herself one anyway, so no guilty feeling or whatsoever. haha. But anyways, I am still thankful and thanked my mum for this big gift from her trip. Thank you Ma! =)

My first Coach

Hello Baby C!

Anyways, it is currently hiding in my cupboard and I have no idea when am I going to use it. I am scare I will dirty it since it is my most expensive bag ever, and come on! Even my pretty bag I bought from France that cost me less than 20 Euro is still hiding in my cupboard since I sayang it too much to use it what more a Coach bag. Bag dilemma really. haha.

Well, I am so used to use a seasonal bag I call it, because normally I will only use one bag to college for one semester and at the end of semester, it would be either spoilt or too dirty. =p So mind you, my bag will cost me less than RM50 as I am not so fussy about how it looks and all. After all, it is only a temporary college bag. And oh, normally I don't even need to buy a bag because I would have ask my mum or aunt to get me one whenever they go out on a trip.Muahaha. Well, it is like those bargain bags from Bangkok if you are curious. Whether it is Fushi brand or Thai thai brand I don't really mind, as long as I can dump everything in my bag, I am happy. That is how not fussy I am with my bags.

Maybe one day when I have a stable income and can afford to have additional money to buy these luxury goods, I would have reward myself with one or two. As for now, nah, I am good with what I have. =)

Off days coming in a less than 7 days. Bliss~~~~ Happy Weekend people! Have a nice one

Sometimes, its not as easy as you think it is

The hardest thing about customer service, is when you met with some stuck up people who doesn't know what is 'Respect'.

Example 1:

People who act smart and think that they are ALWAYS right. This kind of people think that they have the money in the world just because they had spent SO much on this something call 'Luck'.In their world, other people are just worthless so they can condemn them whichever way that they want and still think that they are right at the end. Raise their voice is just minimum, doubting people's working abilities just because they think that they are right, which they are not, and humiliating other people? Cursed the corporation just because they do not get what they want. In the end, will they be back? Certainly will, because they just love this thing call gamble.

I was at the merge of crying after, when I was half way walking towards the toilet, I said to myself, why should I even shed tears for this kind of jerk. I sucked it in, and walked back into the office, continued with my job.

Example 2:

This is the worst of all. Me and my colleague had just started our work and we are fairly new at this location. So this couple came and started asking some questions. At first it was alright, until the husband came. He proudly threw his two special so-call VVIP card on the table and demanded for something from us. He THREW the cards, with his LC face and attitude. In our normally procedure, we require two different card and apparently they do not have that card and yet, he demanded us to give him what he want because he have those 'VVIP' card. I tried to explain in patient that we need his another card to proceed with his demand. Both of us did not know that with those special cards, they have the privilege to proceed with what they want without another card.

It was my first time stationed there and to my colleague, he rarely stationed there as well. Of course we don't know. Still? Must you YELL at us and acting like we are just a bunch of rubbish. Demanded to see our manager and saying that we both don't know how to work. Mind you, yes we might not know, but according to our procedure, you should have two cards if you play in that area. How the hell in million years will I know you have such privilege. Can't you have a little bit patience while we call and ask our supervisor about it because yelling at us with such disrespect?? Luckily the person who always stationed here came back and proceed with his demand. Guess what? He THREW another two VVIP card from another place and said you think I don't have other cards ar! NAH!

I was going to cry after he left because I felt so damn humiliated. How could such people behave in such disrespectful way? So what if you have such VVIP cards? I don't give a damn shit because you people do not know the basic human manners which is RESPECT. If you want to show off, show it to people of your same kind because I just don't care. If you always behave in this matter, you are just LOW.

Two of the worst situation I had experience during my internship...I guess I have to start learning how not to let this kind of situation hit back on myself hard..Suck it in as they are just another customer...
